Biography of Mirella Bastelli

After graduating in piano at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, she moved to Paris for a specialization course.
On returning to Italy she collaborates with periodicals specialized in the realization metaphysics, alternating poems with articles aimed at the fusion between the Western philosophies and the sacred texts of Eastern Tradition, finding in them her most suitable channel.
The encounter with clay is spontaneous and spontaneous. For years it has been dedicated to modeling and to games of great proportions.
After having extended her interests to design and ceramics, from 2009 he followed a modeling and pitto-sculpture workshop with the sculptor Anna Maria Angelucci and recently a sculpture course on Lecce stone with Maestro Sandro Marinacci.
Any material becomes, for the artist, a channel of expression for a creative journey aimed at the search for synthesis between the Idea and the world of forms.
She has participated in individual and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad, Frankfurt, Miami, Barcelona and Seville. Wins the "Artists in surfacing" competition of the multimedia art promotion and the 3rd prize of the Medusa Aurea Trophy organized by the Int. Academy of Modern Art in Rome.
She has works in permanent exhibition at the Museum Art of Miami in Florida and in the Museum of Scontrone (L'Aquila).
