The exhibition space is a symbol of Rome,
the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, which contains

Nestled at the foot of the Capitol on the border with the Jewish ghetto .. tower was built from the fourteenth century with the creation of an arched loggia, now closed and then extended toward the square from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century.
The building has recently undergone a restoration that has brought to light the compositional elements and decorations from the eighteenth century through the use of traditional materials and techniques.

Design contest for the creation of works of art and design to be allocated to ArtShop museum and bookshop. Third Edition

After the success of the initiative that has gained considerable support among professionals, it offers the third edition of the DAB - Design and Artshop Bookshop, sponsored by GAI - Association for the Circuit of the Young Italian Artists and produced by Young Art of the Municipality of Modena. DAB falls in the draft DE.MO. - Support for the new design and mobility, partner who sees the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture and, in particular, the Directorate General for the promotion of cultural heritage and the General Directorate for the scenery, fine arts, architecture and contemporary art. The project team also the Galleria Civica di Modena and Reggio Emilia Green Ray Company.
The competition aims to encourage the design and production of works of art and design by young Italian artists to be allocated to marketing in ArtShop and bookshops of museums in our country. On the one hand more and more Italians are the museums that have spaces dedicated to the merchandising and who need to qualify and characterize their commercial offering so varied and original. Second, there are many young people working in the field of art, design, craft arts, graduated from institutes and academies of art, design schools, ISIA and members of the Association for Stock GAI, which could find, in this business, number of job opportunities. DAB has the objective of linking these two components to create windows for the presentation of the prototypes made by young authors and promote conditions for their next production and marketing.

The “visions” of the protagonists of Ecohousing Art
Artists: they are called upon to design and create by means of any technique and material. These artworks must express something; they must sublime the values of the Ecohousing Art manifesto. The artist goes beyond the denouncing the status quo: the artist is a scientist, a cultural and philosophical operator. He creates artworks by means of openness, contaminations and exchanges for public or private spaces and environments.


Designers: they are called upon to design and create by means of any technique and material. Designers must design internal or external environments or instruments which express and sublimate the values of the Ecohousing manifesto. Competition for young artists project 6ARTISTA

Deadline October 2, 2010
The competition is open to Italian and foreign artists resident in Italy, aged between 21 and 30 years who have done their training pertaining to the visual arts in Italian institutions (Universities, Academies of Fine Arts, Dance, Theatre, Cinema, Conservatives, Schools of Design).
The competition will select two winning artists for a residency each lasting nine months.
there will be a formative period of six months in Rome and one to three months in Paris, receive a supply of materials necessary for production of artworks amounting to € 3500, will also receive a monthly repayment of € 580 to Rome and of € 480 in Paris and there will be the final exhibition of the artworks with catalog.

Premio TERNA third edition

It is a contest aimed at the promotion of art, but also to enhancing the relationship between art and business.
The Award is divided into two categories, a national uprising to all artists, Italian or foreign, who work steadily on the Italian territory, and an international one, addressed to Italian and foreign artists who work in Shanghai and Beijing, China.

The municipal administration of Castroreale (Messina) has promoted workshops in sculpture with the artist Hidetoshi Nagasawa be held in the Auditorium of Castroreale August 17 to 24 near open to students and young sculptors.

13th BEIJING INTERNATIONAL ART EXPOSITION
