Tertulliani Simone "Tertu"

Born in Pisa on 14/08/1968 residing in Volterra and graduated from the Liceo Scientifico "G. Carducci "of Volterra.
Parents receive the love of the mountain that leads me to discover the fascinating world of woodcarving; aid is also the city where I live, Volterra, where as a child in the streets I see the alabaster was fascinated by the work these artists from a simple stone that they can get on animals, people, figures.
During a walk in the woods I run into a few pieces of wood that just hit me, so I realize the first works with which I participate in the 2002 survey of eighth sculpture, graphics and painting "ideArte".
After a long hiatus of eight years in 2010, during a walk on the promenade, I saw a wood that makes me rediscover the passion for this hobby too long forgotten.
In 2011, with the work carried out so participate in the contest and the prize YICCA 2010/2011 Spoleto Art Festival 2011 where I come from winning. The same year he participated in exhibitions at Spoleto, in the Art Festival Award, Perugia and Rieti, in the month of December I am selected to participate in the exhibition "Art for Christmas Shopping" in Rome Via Goffredo Mameli Spaziottagoni 9 (Trastevere).
In my works show what nature, in many years, has created, using only dry trunks that collect in the waterfront or in the woods and never cut branches from trees.
