Since ancient times, painting and gilding have embellished works of art and culture.
This, too, is a real art: the work of the gilder and painter.
Born in 1971 and living in Santa Christina in the Val Gardena, after compulsory schooling he attended art school and spent 4 years as an apprentice.
Since 1990 he has worked independently. His speciality is painting and gilding religious and secular works in the ancient “crackle” style. He uses colour pigments in tempera and acrylics.
He uses 24 carat gold leaf in various shades.
Gold has been known and highly regarded by man since prehistory, it is mentioned in Egyptian texts from around 3000 BC, and it will also be valued in the future.
He has taken part in exhibitions in cities such as: Milan , Bolzano , Bisto Arsizio, Spinea, Feltre, Munich ( Germany ), Anras ( Austria ), Padua etc.
