Carafi Isabel

Born in Buenos Aires, lived and worked in Italy since 1980.
Graduated first in the Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires, then to that of Carrara, the artist has held solo exhibitions around the world (Argentina, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Slovenia, Hong Kong).
Its configuration is very personal and can be recognized among a thousand, not only for South American and Mediterranean colors he uses, but especially for the morphology of its surreal characters, always in motion and whose expressions are perfectly in line with what they do and represent.
Isabel loves to paint the poor, humble, but proud of their noble origins, both when it comes to Aboriginal people or everyday people, including self-portraits where the artist manages to be simultaneously ironic and erotic and sensual.
Large and intelligent eyes, full lips and fleshy, full of love, irresistible attitudes, and muscles that seem to flicker in the light of the sun or moon, these characters are icons of this unique artist personally.
It's enough to see works such as "sun dance", "friends" or even "fans" who would be happy to Egon Schiele painting, to realize the artistic personality of this painter, who manages to give these characters the sense of movement and to the word.
