Biography of Rozenn Corbel

Choreographer, dancer, actress,performer.
Rozenn Corbel, born in Brazil but of French nationality, was formed to dance in Paris, where he obtained Diploma of State for the teaching of modern and contemporary dance.
After thorough techniques Nikolais, Cunningham, contact and release, has approached as an interpreter at the comedy and cabaret.
In France, he danced for the company of Christine Gérard. In Italy he worked as an interpreter with Judith and Bill T. Cambieri Jones and as a choreographer with Marco Aurelio, Kitomb, Cosmophonies, Mauro Tiberi, the musical trio "Polyhymnia" and the director Alessandro Fabrizi. He currently works as an interpreter for the company Atacama Cavola Patrick and Ivan Truol and is choreographer and director of the company Incontempo. Award-winning choreography for the competition "Golden Flower Festival" di Genzano (RM), along with Roberta Escamilla Garrison was artistic director, choreographer and performer of the show points of view at the exhibition "Pozzo degli Angeli in Rome. He also participated in the transmission 5 and the Laboratory for fiction Carabinieri Canale 5. It was named for choreographing a fashion show of jewelry in a gallery of 'art of the Spanish Steps.
It uses all his theatrical experience to develop their own choreographic language, mixing movement and expression, always seeking the essentiality and necessity of the act.
Activity as a dancer, actress and choreographer combines an intensive educational effort. For several years he taught at the University Terpsichore Dance Center of Rome (Ostia Lido) in courses ranging from introductory to advanced levels. Also conducts workshops in various Italian cities, offering a working group consisting of technique, improvisation, composition accompanied by Maestro Alberto Di Giacomo on drums.

This workshop is led by dancer, choreographer, performer Rozenn Corbel.
It provides for a monthly meeting of 6 hours during the weekend. It is open to all adults, men and women who have the desire to get closer to the movement, in a broad sense, as a gesture, action, sign and transmit. To participate, you need not have lived through similar experiences.
After numerous technical depth during his career and theatrical dance, has created its own language teaching and choreography.
Use the gesture in its necessity and essentiality, contact, expression, theatricality, musicality, voice (as a melodic, rhythmic, recitative) and percussive sounds, thus giving an interaction between body, state of 'mind and stage presence.

This theater-dance course is open to all persons who have already started a process and a study of movement, broadly defined, as a gesture, action, sign and transmit.

Performance Dance Theatre Company Incontempo for two dancers and four musicians built around the dialectical linkages of the word "GO". Passing through the kaleidoscope of shapes and meanings attached to this word, are approached and explored different worlds: ready go, go go, take off, cast out, throw away, fly away, run away and then "GO" as the construction of roads .
Unlike previous designs, the music and its proponents are not placed at the edge of the scene but at the center, as well as in the middle of the choreographic language and stage action.
The show lasts 58 minutes total. Entertainment conceived in two parts with the possibility to present only one.

SYNOPSIS
The project was born from the desire of combining three elements of life that have many similarities between them. It is based on the theme of opposites, and develops from:
the choice of ideas, thoughts, words and sounds that live together opposing, creating choreography and improvisations sometimes abstract, sometimes concrete, sometimes dramatic and expressive;
the choice of the soundtrack that mixes the cold and the essentiality of electronic music with the sounds of real live music and warm, contrasting the melody of the guitar to the rhythm of the percussion;
from research and conceptual color of the costumes and lighting design, inspired by a contrasting sky;
the choice of different types of wines, sometimes inspired by dance and sometimes I'm inspired.
The dance the wine and music are certainly expressions of love, romance and passion, words that do not always mean happiness, but surely lived. The wine is a natural companion of the newspaper as well as the movement and sound. The choice of a wine, such as the choice of steps or musical notes, is done accurately and with precise criteria, but without forgetting the notion of pleasure which anticipates the sensory satisfaction.

The event aims to stimulate all the senses and is composed of several stages:
some are devoted to wine tasting;
others concern the dance accompanied by live music;
others only allow the music to express themselves.

Finally it will be offered the opportunity to share a convivial moment to both the public and artists. Because wine, music and dance acts are not only formal, but processes and social and cultural communication vehicles that help to stay together and often understand each other better.

The show takes its cue from a sentence from a story by an anonymous writer of the East that I have come to know through a person encountered during a trip to Santo Domingo. Deeply affected, I wished to be inspired to develop a theatrical creation, presented in Rome in the form of "first study" and the Greek Theatre in a more extended and elaborate theater of the Orangerie.
